Dr. Alan Ng

The first thing people notice about Dr. Al is his friendly, happy smile. Not only is he the “Al” in Al Care Dental, he’s also a source of joy and compassion for our patients.

Dr. Al was born in Malaysia and moved to Canada in 1989. He lived in New Brunswick, where he studied Biochemistry at the University of New Brunswick, before moving to Halifax to study dentistry at Dalhousie University. He began his career as a dentist in the Canadian Forces. After he graduated from Dalhousie in 2004, he was posted to Edmonton, where he served as a dental officer for ten years.

Dr. Al truly believes in dentistry from the heart. He’s passionate about oral health and he treats every patient as a member of his family. He believes in having fun, and here at the office we try very hard to make our patients feel at ease from the moment they walk in the door.

Outside the office, Dr. Al enjoys spending time with his family, playing badminton and volleyball, composing songs on his piano, and travelling.
